In ShortComforting cuisine is served in this homey restaurant with deep plum-colored walls, white tablecloths and sparkly chandeliers. Candlelit tables are small and cozy, and generously portioned dishes, great for passing around, make it an ideal destination for groups. The menu includes fried zucchini with a zesty tomato sauce, daily lasagna, and manicotti--handmade crepes filled with ricotta, mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. The densely creamy and delicious tiramisu is some of the best in town.

Not the food your Italian mom would serve to her family
By Bill4Sierra on 08/28/2008
There is no way one could say this place has good Italian food, unless you never had good Italian food! The eggplant parmigiana consisted of two fat hard dry disks, with some sauce and some mozzarella over it. As an Italian who grew up in Brooklyn NY with a house full of other Italians, I can tell you don't go unless you have never really had good food. An the service, well they could have not have cared less how bad I thought the food was.

A Taste of Home..
By gizmotoall on 02/05/2005
Authentic italian meals, Great food, Great service. This is one of our favorite downtown eateries. Twice this summer with out of town family from NY, family stopped mid-forkful amazed that this wasn't "our" Grandma's Gravy :) The decor is beautiful, but not intimidating so you feel like you can linger over dessert or cocktails. We'll definitely be back soon!

Love It & too much salt
By kryersonco on 10/24/2004
October 24, 2004 My wife and I have eaten here six times. We love the atmosphere, service is great and the wines by the glass are excellent. The entrees we have had however have toooooo much salt and not enought garlic and could use some more spices. Otherwise it's wonderful! Plan on going again soon.

AWESOME!
By zoomacooms on 09/25/2004
My hub and I went here to celebrate our tenth anniversary. The place was too cool. It was warm and cozy. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The owner was amazing! But the food, the food was to die for! The garlic bread, the wine, the manicotti and the chicken parmiasana with a side of perfectly done spinach and the Tiramisu for dessert. Heavenly. I would recommend this gem for anyone wanting a wonderful and satisfying evening.
