Sweet Tomatoes   

No better place in Portland for a vegetarian looking for a salad bar. They have a fair number of chicken options too but don't come here expecting to gorge yourself on meat. I love the Happy Won Ton Chicken salad and I don't know what they put in the bran muffins but they are crazy good. Come by 5:30 and there's no line and lots of seats, later than that and expect a little slower moving but not awful. Great for kids because there's so much variety.

Really quite a nice restaurant. Always clean, the food is fresh and the selection is good. The fruit could stand a little more variety but is fresh and sweet. Very busy on weekends. Be sure to give it a try.
