Ri Ra the Irish Pub & Rstrnt   

Ri-Ra is far and away my favorite pub in Providence. Authentic Irish atmosphere, staff, and food, not to mention a perfect pint. Betweeen the regulars and the friendly staff it's a place I always feel welcome. Their lunch specials are a great change of pace from their regular menu, and they also offer a monthly special...mmmm. My suggestion, try the Irish Potato Cakes...delish. If you go for some food and a pint, stay for the entertainment. They have live music Friday and Saturday, and the only traditional Irish Session I've found in the state (it's on Sunday evenings.) They also do a great Trivia on Tuesday nights, strap on your thinking caps though, the questions can be a bit tough. Give it a shot and I'm sure you'll agree with me!

Ri-Ra claims to welcome everyone in with a smile. The good news is that the smile is genuine, the atmosphere takes you back to Ireland, the beers are incredibly good and varied, and the food is very well prepared, ample and certainly authentic. Ri-Ra is an excellent value, and I have never been disappointed when I have visited. Whenever we have friends visiting and we're looking for a dinner that wont break the bank, we head over to Ri-Ra. I'm sure it will become a favorite of yours too.
