From the name of the place, you might expect to find nautical knickknacks, portraits of old whaling captains and a giant stuffed marlin on the wall over the watercolor painting of a Cape Cod lighthouse. Nope, no such luck. What you will find is a full bar decked out for dancing and mingling with a booming sound system and colored lights. The roomy dance floor accommodates the large crowd, and the music is a mix of DJ dance tracks, live jazz and blues, and rock bands. Appetizers are served at the bar and in the dining area and include standard bar fare like chicken wings. Lunch and dinner feature lots of fresh New England seafood -- from chowder to fish 'n' chips. Burgers break things up for those of you who aren't into the seafood thing. But why come to a place called the Fish Company if you're not? Seafood is definitely where the menu is strongest. Wednesday is the night to come if you are into the live music thing while weekends are hosted by area DJs from Thursday until Saturday.
