Rate and Write a Review When customers walk into the Trinity Brewhouse, they won't see a lot of fancy decorations. The dark wooden walls are covered with oars, pictures and hanging plants, and the rest of the decor consists of beer-related equipment like empty beer bottles, a grain mill and old-fashioned kegs. The Trinity Brewhouse doesn't have those things around for no reason, though -- the brewmasters need the supplies because they brew all their own beer on the premises. No matter what kind of beer you are in the mood for, Trinity is bound to have it. For a light beer, try the Trinity Kolsh; Tommy's Red is a more rich ale, named for its reddish color and smooth flavor; the Rhode Island IPA is bitter, while the Oatmeal Stout (made with pale malt, roasted barley, chocolate malt and crystal malt) has a stylish and rich appeal. Those are just a few of the many beers served by Trinity, which usually has between six and eight beers on tap at a time. There are drink specials too, like the beer of the week.Appetizers, salads, sandwiches, pizza and burgers are available all the time, and entrees are served 5-10PM daily. Selections like the Trinity T-bone and the grilled sausage platter go well with the home-brewed beer.Downstairs at the brewhouse, live music goes on weekly. Called the Fermeteria, the stage hosts bands between 10PM and 1:45AM. See the Web site for a full schedule. Finally, if drinking good beer from the comfort of home seems more appealing than coming into the brewhouse, Trinity beer can be ordered by the bottle and by the keg. Don't miss this Providence favorite.
