Alforno Restaurant   

OK - it's a bit overpriced, but the food is outstanding. The pizzas (which can feed two moderately hungry adults) are delicious and the desserts are terrific. We don't go there often, but when we do, it's a re

4 stars for quality, but more like 1 star if you like a speedy dinner. Personally, I don't. I'd rather take my time and enjoy the fabulous food. The grilled pizza is fantastic as are many of the dishes. The drinks are good, but every thing is so pricey. As long as you have plenty of money and plenty of time (you WILL have to wait in the bar...it's just a mater of HOW LONG), Al Forno is a great looking place with wonderfull food and you'll be served professionaly and (I've found) always courteously. There are, however better resturants for the same money. I'd certainly dine at Grappa or Capriccio's in lieu of Al Forno if it were my money being spent.

two stars is very harsh i was there and i am at least 5 stars

the food is outstanding but the noise level is high. certainly not for the romantic. the wait to get in is always very long and not fair. they play favorites - they should take reservations and stick to them!!
