Efendi Atma, owner and chef of this eponymous restaurant, has done a marvelous job of combining food from all the regions that fall into the Mediterranean cuisine category. While classic Italian Mediterranean fare is on the menu, you'll also find some true Turkish cuisine, as well as Middle Eastern favorites. The bright and airy decor makes you forget that you are in a strip mall so that you can concentrate on the mouthwatering menu. Since so many tastes are represented, start out with the mezze plate that gives you a sample of just about everything: tzatsiki, hummus, babaghanoush and stuffed grape leaves filled with herbed rice, creamy chunks of feta cheese and briny Kalamata olives. Entrees include Sesame Chicken Skewers, Eggplant Napolean and Clam Zuppa. The Early Bird menu (served from 4-5PM), features dinner for two (including a bottle of wine) for under $25. Finicky children can nosh such kids menu items as chicken tenders, grilled cheese and mozzarella sticks. -- Sara Chauhan
