Olga's is a charming haven of country charm set in the middle of the big city. Outside, you'll find a beautiful patio dotted with fanciful concrete tables inlaid with mosaics and an herb garden. Inside, the cafe is airy yet a bit crowded. The menu is innovative in its simplicity. The focus is on fresh, quality ingredients and skilled preparation. Pastries include caraway-currant scones, peanut butter cookies, fruit pies, clafouti, biscotti and pecan blondies. Ten varieties of homemade bread are available for sandwiches. Fillings include mango chutney chicken salad, and smoked mackerel and trout salad. Olga's can even make a zucchini sandwich (cornmeal crusted zucchini spread with herbed goat cheese) taste good. Still have room for dessert? Try a piece of chocolate torte or a lemon square. Prices are low.

From Olga's unique menu...it is health conscious...has fresh breads baked there daily. There's always something new on the menu to try and it's fun visiting from time to time.

Olga's is best known for bread, and muptiple varieties of it!. The cakes are also great. Generally, you'd find a drier - southern european type cake as opposed to a spongy northern european cake. I don't think they do custom bithday type cakes. The raisan fennel rolls are great - so is the roasted garlic boule.
