In ShortLike its counterpart on Raleigh's Glenwood South, the Hibernian in Cary is a proper Irish outpost of good cheer. The over-the-top decor quickly grows on you as you get comfortable. As with the Raleigh pub, it's a predominately young professional crowd. The Hibernian does an excellent job of creating lots of cool little spaces to sit with someone in particular or a group of friends. If the weather is right, try the comfortable outdoor seating.

Best Pub in Cary
This is a truely great local place. The staff knows my name and the Bar keep knows my drinks. They always treat us like family. Good beer...good food and fair prices.

Went for the first time last week. Great place, great food, wonderful staff. A gem for Raleigh where everything is overpriced and alacarte. I'll be back and soon.
