In ShortStep into the cavernous main room and you'll understand why this is one of the most festive nightspots in Raleigh. Large and usually full of people enjoying drinks and live entertainment, this pub has a laid-back atmosphere that lives up to its name. In addition, there's a late-night menu that offers appetizers such as fish-and-chips, nachos and tempting desserts that include Guinness-flavored cheesecake.

By flutterby83 on 08/13/2004
Well what can I say Im a huge fan. Mike and the rest of the staff, do a fantastic job of keeping everyone served and making sure that there isnt a dry mouth in the place. if you just want to get out of the club scene and want the best of a pub enviornment. Hey this is the spot. I live in Jacksonville, and travel out to Raleigh just to see the freindly faces, and have the scallops wrapped in bacon. Well if mike ur reading this the guys from boston are back and we are on our way to Raleigh. Thanks for all the good times

Greay bartenders and the beer is always just right. The only thing wrong with it is I never have enough time to stay and play!!!
