Legends may be a predominantly gay club, but even straight folks can't ignore the fact that this continues to be one of the hottest spots in town. To make sure you get in, purchase a membership (when it starts getting packed--and it always does--bouncers tend to only let in members and their guests). Once you're buzzed in, be ready for anything. Weekend nights here are dominated by loud pumping music that's in sync with what's playing in the hottest clubs in New York and Los Angeles. So don't be surprised to see sweaty guys, sans shirts, grooving on the dance floor until the wee hours. On Sundays at midnight, the dance area transforms into a stage where you can catch one of the best drag shows around. When you need a break from the action, cut across the patio to the lounge area known as The View. This smoke-free, classy enclave allows you to catch your breath, refresh your cocktail and pick up a few moves from the TVs broadcasting the latest in music videos.
