What used to be the Taco Bell on Franklin Street has been reincarnated as The Library, a live music venue and student-oriented drinking hole. The intimate space of honey-blond wood is perfect for jiving to an open mic night, shooting a game of pool or just hanging out at the bar. The requisite bottled and draft brews, as well as a stocked liquor cabinet, will more than adequately whet your whistle. Most weekend nights will find you paying a cover to get in, but with live music or DJ-spun tunes, who can complain? If you just want to kick back with the game, this spot's got you covered with its 120-inch high-definition projection screen. The Library is a private club and membership is required, but usually that just means filling out a membership card. You may want to call ahead to get the full scoop.
