You get the feeling that even the most dramatic of cataclysms would result in a minimal net effect on the clientele at the Silver Dollar. This crowd is into two things: cold beer and live music. The decor suggests the marketing machinations of several domestic brewers, including Budweiser, Miller and PBR, were the first to penetrate the good-time veil that envelops this locale. Wall hangings, coasters, ashtrays, mugs and cans of beer are conspicuously represented throughout the rough and tumble watering hole. Mixed drinks are available for the cocktail-inclined. Several pool tables and dartboards help make Silver Dollar Saloon a nightly tradition. -- Charles Norwood
