Watch black-and-white Humphrey Bogart movies during dinner and choose from 16 flavors of infused vodka, colorfully displayed as the bar's center attraction. Bogart's also lays claim to the city's only 360-degree bar. Booths offer views of the open kitchen in the back. On nice nights, dine on the patio overlooking the Glenwood South scene. Menu options include everything American. For starters, try the brandied shrimp dip, pan-seared cilantro salmon cakes or blackened chicken quesadillas. Entrees range from casual dishes such as the fried oyster po' boy to the more elaborate ginger and tangerine glazed tuna. Skip a traditional dessert and instead go for the Skyy, Godiva chocolate liqueur and Chambord. The drink's name? Casablanca. -- Erica Hinton

Simply Amazing
By jesc55 on 11/18/2004
My fiancee and I recently took a trip to the Raleigh area and decided to spend one night out dining. As out of towners, we knew nothing of the local food scene. We randomly chose Bogart's as our place to indulge. WOW were we amazed. Everything from the service to the deserts absolutely blew us away. Our waitor was an expert on the menu, and the food on the menu was cooked with expertise. A cool, relaxing breeze swept through the outside patio, adding to our allready fabulous occassion. The original desserts are worth the trip alone, nevermind the perfectly cooked sirloins, melting butters and spinach. We plan to take another trip down to Raleigh and will absolutely re-visit Bogart's. Call us out of towners, but hands down the best dining expeirience of our lives.
