Sundays belong to Courtney's -- this no-frills family eatery serves breakfast all day long, making it a hit for churchgoers, late risers and moms who would rather take the family out than cook a big meal. The big draws are huge portions and low prices. The atmosphere is completely casual; the most formal sight you'll see is a family dressed for Sunday service. Since breakfast is the specialty here, you really can't go wrong. Order a tall stack of flapjacks, a monstrous omelet or a combination of eggs, bacon, sausage, toast and grits. For lunch, the menu expands to include burgers, salads and sandwiches. The only thing that beats the food is the bill -- prices ensure you'll leave full, but not broke. An added bonus: If you have children, Courtney's hustle-and-bustle environment will alleviate your worries about the kids being too loud.

Refused to seat my 83 year old companion until the rest of our party arrived

We arrived a few minutes early, before our other two companions, so we stood in the line waiting for a table thinking they would seat the two of us at a table for four, give us menus and serve us each a coffee while we waited for our friends to arrive. When we reached the front of the line they ask how many in our party and I said, Four, the other two should be any moment." I was shocked when they refused to seat us until all of our party were there. I beg them to give us a table so my 83 year old companion could have a seat. Nope! I asked to see the manager and got this rude remark, "You have to wait in line until all of your party is here. Please leave it you don't like it." "Oh, and stand out of the way of the people next in line." With no way to contact our friends, we stuck it out. When our friends arrived we finally got out table. The food and table service were OK, but I will never, ever return to this rude restaurant if they begged me. To show such disrespect to an elderly woman by putting business ahead of common sense told me what their priority is, $$$$s.

Eat there on Saturdays mostly. Enjoy the atmosphere and the hustle and bustle. Great serversand great food.

Food is great, service is awsome. Everytime my family and I come here to the Falls Pointe Shopping Center we stop at Courtney's for breakfast or lunch. I love the staff, they are wonderful and the food is ALWAYS good. They have the best Waffles and Omeletes..cant wait to go back.
