For a laidback yet upscale meal, Glenwood Grill is tried and true. More than 10 years in the restaurant business have taught the staff a thing or two, including a no-frills dress code and the ''portion pricing program'' which offers smaller portions for a lower cost. It's the little things that keep people coming back, but a versatile menu helps too. Dinner entrees include the gut-busting ''carpet bagger'' that comes with filet mignon, oysters and green beans in Madeira sauce. Shrimp scampi with angel-hair pasta, pan-fried chicken with basil tomato salsa, and grilled pork tenderloin with sour-cream smashed potatoes are just a few entrees available for ''Sunday Supper,'' a great alternative to slaving away in the kitchen all weekend. An abbreviated menu is available for lunch, with choices like a bacon cheeseburger with potato salad and a fried oyster Caesar salad.

Our favorite place!

Glenwood Grill is a neighborhood restaurant where all are made to feel welcome and the food is fabulous. Servers are knowledgeable and friendly. Wine list is quite good. Entrees are beautifully presented, properly seasoned and cooked just right. Most desserts are made there and are wonderful. We've been eating there regularly since they opened...a long time. It's nice to be greated by name and to be served your favorite wine without asking!

What a great place!!

From the smile at the front door when we walked in to the "have a good night" on the way out, we had one of the best dining experiences we have ever had and it didn't cost a fortune!!! They have a resonably priced wine list and terrific menu that changes every few weeks. Service was courteous and professional. The atmosphere was not too loud but still lively. Overall, just a really nice experience. Highly recommended! Chef John Wright knows what he is doing!!
