Craving that certain something, but you're not quite sure what it is? Come to Humble Pie, where variety can satisfy nearly any desire. The new owners have stripped the place of live music and cover charges in lieu of a place where the food takes center stage. The extensive tapas menu caters to a wide range of taste buds, with an assortment of flavors from Moroccan spices to Mexican chocolate. That means you'll dine on items like curried pumpkin soup, coco cola quail and Cuban stuffed calamari. One thing that really stands out here, though, is the seafood -- anything from a Caesar salad with fried oysters to monkfish steamed in a banana leaf. With appetizer-size portions and very reasonable prices, you can sample several of the menu's 36 offerings. Pair any of the dishes with a selection from the moderately priced wine list of more than 40 bottles, more than a dozen of which are served by the glass. On Sundays, Humble Pie opens only for brunch, which means bagels with lox, quiche, shrimp and grits, and sweet potato pancakes. If it's warm outside, dine al fresco on the patio out front for a truly laid-back experience.

Our favorite restaraunt! We especially love the caeser salad with oysters! Good wine list and food! Great atmosphere (romantic). Also enjoy the outdoor dining. Prices are also reasonable. Go once and your hooked!

Went Saturday (4/6) to visit a DJ friend (DJ 40 Oz). Thanks for the hospitality. Different atmosphere. A neat change from the average club.

Love this place! Although it's a little hard to find, I'm always glad I did, because on top of the amazing food & beer, wine (their list is imaginative, affordable, and definately rivals some of the more stuffy upscale eateries in the area) and liquor bar, they've been booking reall
