Rate and Write a Review Not only is Jujube falling right in line with the Triangle's Asian invasion, it also stands out as neighborhood destination where diners are encouraged to meet and greet friends, share dishes, sake and conversation. Begin your experience here by taking in the scenery: the festive Shanghai design features orange-red hues, sage greens and golden woods along with larger-than-life black and white photographs depicting large bowls of noodles and steamy tea. For a unique dinner, sit at the counter with wok-fired cooking stations or at the communal table for 20. Here, dine on a host of small dishes like pork buns, sweet potato fritters and crispy scallion calamari for just $3-$8. Larger plates mean yellow curried rice noodles, clay pot black rice, Niman Ranch hanging roast pork glazed with hoisin and dark soy and firecracker prawns and five spice soy chicken. End with the orange-almond torte with red bean ice cream or jasmine tea sorbet with grapefruit compote for an unforgettable meal. Note: if you enjoyed your experience here, then the next time you dine out you might want to try the restaurant right next door. Bin 54, an upscale steakhouse, is a venture from the same owners and you can expect the same level of food, atmosphere and service. - Erica Hinton
