That's the philosophy at K & W Cafeteria, where at lunch and dinner time, the four lines quickly fill with those seeking Grandma's home cooking. Nearly 20 salads, from tossed to congealed, are the first stop, followed by about 15 entrees including roast beef, fried chicken, fried flounder, and if you can stomach it, chicken livers. Vegetables are seasoned with meat, making the collards, cabbage and green beans extra tasty. Mac and cheese, green bean casserole and candied yams are also tops. Make the meal complete with a warm roll or jalapeno cornbread, sweet iced tea and, of course, dessert. With meringues on the lemon, coconut and chocolate pies stacked sky-high, you can't resist. Takeout is also available.
