Local restaurant group Rocky Top Hospitality has reinvented one of their Glenwood Avenue ventures, Vivo Ristorante, as a tapas-and-cocktail lounge called The Red Room. The late night spot features a trendy menu of tiny dishes perfect for nibbling, and a list of sassy martinis to savor in addition to live music and dancing. Try tantalizing tapas such as shrimp ceviche with avocado and mango, roasted chicken quesadillas with salsa roja and an array of fresh rolled sushi. Flatbread pizzas come with a variety of toppings, or you can up the sharing ante with plates of baby back ribs, sliced duck and seared scallops.Ruby-hued cocktails like the signature Red Room martini, mixed with raspberry vodka and passion fruit cognac, refresh regulars as they dance to live bands every Saturday night and DJ tunes during the week. The lounge also offers wine by the bottle or glass, house-blended sangria and a selection of champagne and beer.
