Ruth's Chris brings to mind one thing and one thing only: steak, whether you're after a thick center filet or a whopping porterhouse. But it's not just the steak that sets this place apart; it's the atmosphere, too. Quite upscale with white linens, dark woods and candles, you're nonetheless encouraged to speak above a whisper. Whet your palate with the jumbo lump crab cakes, lobster bisque or the Ruth's Chop Salad, which has a little bit of everything. Serious meat eaters will, of course, want one of their seven cuts of steak, but the lobster, ahi tuna and lamb chops won't leave you hungry either. Sides, big enough to share, include potatoes done every way from mashed and baked to au gratin and shoestring, sauteed mushrooms, broiled tomatoes and creamed spinach.
