Toot-N-Tell Family Restaurant   

I would like everyone who reads these reviews to know- this restaurant has good food. I asked to go back to the kitchen to see how they cook their food. No, they do not refry their chicken. No, they do not use week-old vegetables. Yes, rotten food does go in the garbage. The person lying about this stuff should be absolutely ashamed. i have seen it firsthand; it is not a plantation, people who want to quit can quit, people who are doing bad are fired. It's as simple as that. They have excellent service and food. My favorite food, for example, is the hamburger steak. It has never been undercooked, overcooked, or rotten. I think, even if it was undercooked, they would find you a new hamburger steak. nobody should say anything bad about this restaurant!

I have been a long time customer at Toot-N-Tell. I have never seen any cockroaches, it is more sanitary than McDonald's. They have an A sanitary rating. Most of the rude comments are coming from a waitress who was fired a long time ago. I would say that most of the waitresses at Toot-N-Tell are very happy. They are very kind to their customers and could only be accused of doing too much. Anybody who writes something bad about this restaurant is either angry for getting fired or just write mean things about people they don't even know. Toot-N-Tell is, yes, an old restaurant, but they DO serve over a thousand people daily, and they DO have great cheap food.

whoever u are that eats at that place everyday, you should be ashamed! why would u defend a dump like that? they are predjudice people. what shade might u be? if its brown, they want ur money. if not for black folks they would be out of business. use your brain. they must be feeding u for free!

You should be very ashame of yourself for I know for a fact that you work there and yes you did eat that chicken you are referring to. This may or may not be the place to do this but when I read something like this i have to respond. Please tell me why you would do something like this and this place was your meal ticket for months. I eat at toot n tell almost everyday and I haven't had a problem .Like all other resturants their is always left over food to be used on the line the next day. We at home use leftovers so why is it resturants can't do the same as long the food. is ok. On that plantation you were one of those workers you were not complaining then so why are you complaing now is it because they "fired" you. Like I said please forgive me for resopnding like this but the truth is the truth and one person comment will not hurt a place like Toot n Tell.The owners and the workers there are all friendly ,nice, loving and caring people.
