Once the place to be for vegetarian cuisine, Irregardless Cafe has branched out to include dishes even meat-eaters will enjoy. A funky, laid-back interior greets you, and an ever-changing menu of fresh entrees is sure to catch your eye. From black bean cakes with tomato jam to grilled quail with roasted garlic vinaigrette, chef Arthur Gordon goes out of his way to infuse fresh flavor in every dish. Sunday brunch at Irregardless is a Raleigh tradition. Menu offerings run the gamut from strictly breakfast fare to heavier entrees like the New Mexican enchilada, or grilled salmon with citrus hollandaise sauce. Twice burned

My first experience was with out of town guests. We started with Bruscetta which was served on their homemade untoasted bread. It was a difficult, soggy mess. The rest of the meal was OK, so we decided to give it another chance (mistake) My wife and I both decided on the stuffed cabbage even after hearing it was layered not rolled. We thought it would be like a cabbage lasagna. What a disaster. It came out in a pile of muck . Not only was it unappealing, it was probably the worst dish I had ever tasted in a restaurant. We received apologies, an offer of another entre, but we settled on a desert. The waitress came to us during our dessert to say that the manager took the dish off the menu. In spite of all of this I cant even come close to convincing my wifw to go back and quite frankly I am not keen enough to spend much energy trying.

this place is terrific. it is family friendly, great food and atmosphere. the prices are quite reasonable.

We went here the day after Thanksgiving with family visiting from out of town and we all had a wonderful time and an awesome meal!! We will definitely be back. Our waitress was wonderful and very accommodating.

First time visit Saturday night. Had a great meal and wonderful entertainment. We will make this a regular stop on our restaurant list. We did not feel rushed and the service was helpful.
