Distinguished by its well-aged, grain-fed beef, Sullivan's is where serious beef aficionados head when they want to spend big and get every penny's worth. This 1940s-style steakhouse doesn't leave anything to chance, and that means dark paneling, stark white tablecloths, live jazz nightly and a menu that allows you to choose exactly what you want. Begin with succulent stone crab claws; then indulge in anything from a filet mignon or veal chop to swordfish or scallops. If you want to skip dinner's high prices, just opt for the bustling bar scene, where you can still eat if you want. This area is not only where execs head for their first after-work drink, but it also houses the night's live jazz band and serves as an intimate people-watching scene for Raleigh's upscale socialites. Because there's always live music and no cover, Sullivan's will continue to be a place where everyone wants to be.

Great atmosphere .Servers are attentive and caring. I have eaten there at least onece a week for the last two years. The steaks are always perfeclty cooked and and the flavor is amazing. The wines are an excellent compliment to the superb flavor of the steaks. A must do in Raleigh. Also a great bar for meet ups. A real whos who in the Raleigh scene.
