Typical Rapid
Have to say that for Rapid City, it's a neat place and it's all good. . . if you're a world traveler, certainly you won't find anything too unique or outstanding about it although I have been to 'brew pubs' in other states and find some are better and some are worse than the Firehouse Brewing Co. BTW, I ws brought up in Rapid so I'm certainly biased to anything they can do in that town for the people who live there to make it more fun!
Lame beer
Pretty poor beer for being touted as a beer pub. Food is OK but bring your own beer.

The Firehouse is just that. Built in 1915, it housed the firestation. Now, with it's own brewpub, it is a locals favorite. The outdoor beergarden has great bands in the summertime, and the cajun seafood boil is wonderful. It is poured out on your table, and they give you a wooden mallet to break the shells. Great service, also.
