In a dim, glowing interior that resembles a futuristic cruise liner, this Shockoe Bottom restaurant attempts to bridge the gap between a fine dining establishment and a late night hot spot. Early in the evenings, an upscale menu featuring items like quail and filet mignon draws a more sophisticated crowd. As the night progresses, however, a singles-heavy party atmosphere freely invades the space. After you enter the club under a Plexiglas arch full of cascading water, you'll find yourself in a black- lit room containing the main dance floor and a large, brushed metal bar. You can join the party up front, or see what the DJ is playing in the Vegas-inspired lounge and dance floor in the back. -- Jenny Kennedy
