Strip-mall sports bars are a dime a dozen in Richmond, but don't tell that to the older, working-class set that frequents the Rock Falls Tavern. Located just off the Chippenham Parkway in the Stratford Hills Shopping Center, this neighborhood watering hole serves up draft beer and weekend bands to an eager clientele.Patrons who arrive early can throw darts or shoot pool on one of the two pool tables that occupy one corner of this combination restaurant/bar. In an adjacent room, large wooden booths fill a dining area where specials are advertised on chalkboards and the waitresses glide happily from booth to booth. The main bar area features a small stage, a black-and-white- checked dance floor, several dartboards, and a number of tables and booths along one wall. Movie posters, TVs and street signs encircle the dimly lit room, while neon signs in the window advertise music and late-night fun. -- Jay Shaylor
