The Pocono Green Shopping Center isn't where you would expect to find a British pub. This dark wood-paneled establishment, however, sticks close to its British roots with an emphasis on beer and billiards. The bar features a large selection of libations, with 15 taps and 65 different varieties of bottled beer. In the evenings, the menu offers traditional pub fare, along with an assortment of steaks, pastas and seafood, while the lunch menu features primarily sandwiches. Families and couples may gravitate to the outdoor patio or the "Library" dining room, which offers quieter, fireside dining. The "Green Room" features live bands or DJs every night of the week, while "Lavery's" and the "Dart Room" have plenty of diversions for sports fans. Whether you find them playing pool, darts or video golf, or watching sports on one of the nine TVs, a diverse crowd of pub regulars makes this place a lively local hangout. -- Jenny Kennedy
