Poe's pours a great Guinness and serves it up with fries, burgers and other tasty pub fare. In the warmer weather, the outdoor patio adds an invigorating dimension to Poe's atmosphere, featuring views of Tobacco Row and the lush greenery and cobblestones of Church Hill Park. Poe's is a safe haven for those that need to wind down after a tough day at the office or, if you feel like trying something new and making friends, check out the highland jig at one of their Celtic nights. -- Amie Oliver

I absolutely love Poe's. It has great food and staff! Also, the atmosphere is amazing.
Poor Service
I went to Poe's on St. Patrick's day. The place was not super busy but from the service you would have thought it was packed. Waitress delivered beer refills to the wrong table, we could not get her to bring a menu, could not get any more beers other than the original ones we got...and she could not come up with the bill when we were ready to leave. I will never go back to this place. It was truely pitiful.

The Food,staff,Bluegrass,and attitude are Topps.This is Truly Richmond..The way that I would want a visitor from another city to remember Richmond.Whoever wrote too expensive,"where the heck have you been going!that is cheaper?If you like to feel at home and welcomed,this is the place.I wish that the black guy that cooked there before was still there,He put his heart into the food.Food is still great,but wish he was back.A must go for Saturday bluegrass to get the true Flavor of Richmond,But get there early.
