Such is the stunning splendor inside that diners would likely frequent the Tobacco Company if it served nothing but pasty gruel. In fact, this Richmond landmark serves any number of high-priced dishes, including grilled and blackened seafood, a house specialty she-crab soup and five different beef dinners. Sandwiches and burgers are also available, as is a full bar and a Sunday brunch. But diners may find their food forgotten. With Tiffany lamps, wood rafters, a gorgeous three-story atrium and lush greenery galore, the Tobacco Company is hard to beat for eye-popping ambience. When your jaw hits the table in awe, it'll be easier to stuff in the food, especially if you have a sweet tooth -- the Tobacco Company is famed for its dessert buffet. If you overindulge one night, just hop into the elevator. The restaurant has its own club attached, and you can boogie on down to the dance floor to burn off that 12-ounce New York strip. -- Brian Benson

We have been here many times and had good meals and great service. Pricey but good.

other workers At the club

Have Been to the club many times in the past. However the club has seen fit to hire a janitor that is rude and very loud and continues to state that he is the owner of the club. If he is, his dress clothes are smelling and dirty. He hangs out at the up stairs bar and drinks to excess. How this employee keeps his job is beyond my friends and my self. I t would seem that an employee like that would be banded from the bar during his working hours. He introduces himself as Mr Steele

I took a group of 8 people and we had a very good time. The service was very good once we got the reservations worked out. Everybody enjoyed their meals but my Prime Rib came out a little on the cool side. The restaurant is very unique and the music that night sounded good where we sat but was very loud in the bar area. I would go back there.
