The Avenue Pub IS a Rochester institution! Cozy, friendly and non-judgmental, this bar has catered to the gay and lesbian community ( as well as some straights ) of all persuasions for nearly thirty years! Thanks, Gary! Keep it up!
Great Old Fashioned Gay Bar
Still in business after 29 years, The Avenue Pub has a charming, low key, friendly ambience for both the gay and lesbian community. If not for the few, subtle pieces of Homoerotic art, one might think they were in "Cheers." It's always easy to find someone to talk to there!
