I absolutely love this place. My home away from home. I'm a woman in my 40's, and I have to say, I never feel unsafe when I'm at Beale. The food is wonderful! They have a new cook who isn't afraid to try something a little different on Wednesday nights. The bartender (Thomas) on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday is awesome. Best in the city! Along with Keith Harding (he'll play anything under the sun and sound terrific),on Tuesday nights, Billy Joe on Fridays (Blues till you drop), there's the Electro Kings, (Luca is awesome on the Harp), on Saturday nights! Always fun, always full of energy. You'll find the South Wedge neighborhood gang there, as well as the new and different crowd, coming in for a great meal. Just to let you all know, I am NOT an owner or an employee of Beale. Just a fan! Go for a visit, (probably Thursday or Friday is your best bet for the first time), and see what I'm raving about.

I can't speak for the entire menu, but our ribs and the accompanying sides were ABSOLUTELY excellent--and they certainly arrived plenty hot enough! The service was fast, and our server was fantastic!
