Overpriced Atmosphere
The atmosphere is great , but the food has plenty to be be desired if you're an Italian looking for great cuisine in the traditional flavor
Amazing
Honestly this place is the best restaurant I have ever been to.. my absolute favorite. The food, service, atmosphere... everything could not be any better. Have yet to find a place that beats it. Pricey yes but well worth it.. generous portions.
Usually a great place
We have always loved Marios, and some of the best meals I've had in Rochester have come from this restaurant. Is it "authentic Italian?" I don't know...I'm not Italian, and I don't care. It certainly is great food. Also, their Mother's Day buffet is really something! The only time we'll stay away is New Years Eve. Then, they have a set menu at a set price, and we feel (from two consecutive years there) that we did not get our moneys worth. But we do love the place and will always return.
Hit or Miss
Pricey and not outstanding. I prefer Romano's Macaroni Grill in Henrietta to Mario's Steak House.
