Brew It Up Is Fun
By tloc on 05/22/2004
Not only a pub, and a restaurant, but a real live brew-it-yourself brewpub! The dining room has a row of small (well, washing machine sized) containers connected together with lots of pipes and valves, and people come in a make their own beer, Staff help with the technical details, but you use your own recipe and take the finished product home. Food was good, the room was a bit noisy, tho the blaring TVs in the bar are mostly blocked by a glass wall. The house brews (about 10 standards ranging from rich deep stouts to pale hefewiezens) and a couple of rotating seasonal beers, were all good (I tried the Flights of small tasting glasses, a good way to find out what you like best). Families, conventioneers and also the young crowd over from the Capitol, but not as much a meat market at Pyramid Brew Pub.

Great Beer and a fun place
By dtomk5366 on 12/27/2004
The beers are great! The staff is awesome, maybe a little over worked. The change is evident since Davis, growing up and changing, but still makes you feel at home.
