The Econo Lodge is pretty well known as a dependable and affordable stop for travelers, and this one's no exception. Being located in the middle of downtown Sacramento means that it's close to all of the area's freeways and attractions. The closest draw is the Governor's Mansion -- just across the street. Other close draws are the Convention Center, the Sacramento Theater Company, Sutter's Fort, the State Capitol and the quaint Old Sacramento. You'll get a free continental breakfast, refrigerator, cable TV and a fax machine. One foot out the door and you're practically face-to-face with fine dining, too. -- Chris Bessey

Across from Sac Memorial Audit
The staff are extremely friendly folks, very clean and quiet room, at least my room was...pleasant stay for anyone who wants to save big dollars but not the fancy appearance such as Clarion...with amenities also included.I will return to this econolodge again.
