Daily specials for $2.99, beef tacos for $1.14 each. With prices like these and a menu with everything from burritos and nachos to gooey combination platters, this little place is affordable for any appetite. The food is hot, quick and decently flavored. It is a drive through, so don't expect top-of-the-line Mexican food. But Jimboy's isn't a true fast-food joint with silly gimmicks, either. Every teenager in town touts the tacos, so the place is doing something right. Late weekend hours make this a popular party-crowd spot as well. The restaurant is clean and the folks who run it are always polite. As well as being plain, simple and easily accessible, Jimboy's discounts its beef tacos to $.89 on Sundays and holidays. -- Dawn E. I don't think that Jimboys is the best mexican food ever, but it is consistently above average. I have never eaten at a jimboys that I thought the food was bad. The Jimboys in Loomis, Ca is good and the people that own it work very hard to give good service along with good food.

Jimboy's Tacos has always been the best. Since I've been going there since 1974. Those tacos and the meat is unique. I live on the east coast now and I certainly wish we had Jimboy"s here.

Anyone that could give a place like Jimboys even one star has never enjoyed good Mexican food. AOL's local reviewer "Dawn E. Bell" must be a crack smoking loser of some kind to give food that bad 5 stars!
