Ol'e Reliable

We know, when we left our house at 7:00pm on Valentines Day, that all the local restaurants would be packed wall to wall. So, we drove over to Natomas, to place after place, after place, and there was nowhere readily available, except taco bell.....not too romantic for Valentines Day....so, after about an hour, our stomaches were growling and we were so hungry we would have eaten taco bell......unless, Emma's was still open. We rush back home and found they were... another 8 minutes. We ordered and had best food & service ever. Everyone was happy.....we closed the place and took home our leftovers. The food is impeckable and we have been enjoying the hopmemade food for over 35 years now. We know now that the first choice in restaurants will always be Emma's. Every time we visit Emma's, we enjoy the family atmosphere and there is always a friendly face or someone you know. We cannot say enough for all the delightful items on the menu. You can always trust the food and sevice is consistantly supreme. We love U Emma's

We heard a lot about this place and tried it ouselves...I hated it, well...the food was okay, afterall who can screw up a burrito. We waited 20 minutes to be greeted, behind one other couple, with plenty of seating in view, the booths were terribly uncomfartable, the server came another 20 min later with chips to ask us if we wanted water/drink, we were getting hungry and were done with the chips before the water/beer came. The salsa bar was a mess and right next to the front door, where everyone and everything coming and going probably landed in it. The bathrrom smell really added some authentic feel to the place, and then we had to hunt down the bill...I almost dashed. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
