The SceneThe decorating scheme of this homely and homey burger pit is "turn-of-the-century garage." Frying pans and fishing trophies bear down from the ceiling, and gag signs about roadkill greet you from all directions. The Squeeze Inn is cramped, slightly dilapidated and hard to spot from the street, but that hasn't stopped it from acquiring a crowd of curmudgeonly regulars. The guff from the cooks and serving staff, meanwhile, comes in all forms of old-school sassy. The FoodIt's not just the retro charm that keeps regulars coming back--the Squeezeburgers are bigger than your fist and must weigh at least a pound, while the fries come in enormous, greasy-yet-crisp mounds. The steak sandwich looks suspiciously burger-like, but with grilled onions, handfuls of cheese and juicy beef patties, who can complain?

Well well well...The Squeeze Inn...not much to say other than the fact that they have one hell of a burger! Second only to Nation Wide Freezer Meats these guys are awesome and have a nice, but small atmosphere.

Squeeze in to the BEST

My husband & I have been there several times, AWESOME!!! The food is always SUPER, and the owners are really nice folks. It is a tiny place, thus the name, but their Cheese Burgers and Fries are to die for!! Good Quality food, etc......and they value their customer base, you are not just a number there. A real treat for us, and we know why they are so successful; they care!! Check it out, you'll be hookded! The Slaters

Yuck!
By vivalabonita on 01/11/2007
I tried this place and I can't believe it has been called the best burger in Sacramento! It is a hole in the wall and a very greasy spoon wrapped up in one very unappetizing package. I could feel the grease congealing on my skin the moment we walked in. There are no sinks within sight behind the counter. Grease is scrapped off the grill into a nearby trash can. The shredded cheese they use slops over the side of the bun onto the grill, they scrape it off and leave the burnt greasy cheese hanging over the side when they serve it. I was sorry I visited this dive!
