Joe's Italian Ristorante   

I have driven by this place a number of times and finally decided to give it a try. It was pretty empty when I went in by myself. The seater seemed confused when I asked for a different table than the one she first offered. The waitress was nice enough. I got a mixed pasta plate, and unfortunately it was all drenched in a super sweet tomato sauce that tasted like it was out of a bottle. On top of that, half of it was cold, and half was hot, leading me to believe that it had been warmed up in a micorwave. Complimentary bread was tough and cold. I will go back and try the pizza sometime, but Im not optimistic.

Joes pizza is the best in San Angelo. Pasta dishes are excellent.
