Fabulous place!! I loved the music and the atmoshere! Only problem was the waitress kept coming by to offer jello shots again and again! We kept saying no and I guess they didn't get the message! Otherwise I went back in time and had a blast!!

I think that Polly Esther's is the best Nightclub in San Antonio! I really enjoy myself whenever I am there. I think that the people that don't have a good time when they are there, don't really know how to have a good time!! I noticed that a lot of people that have sent in comments about the place complain about the price of everything but it doesn't matter where you go it all cost about the same. So I say get over it and have fun!!!

Last night I attened what I thought would be an awesome New Year's Party ay Polly Esther's. While they advertised for weeks on the radio that there were drink specials until 11, a buffet until 10, and a CASH balloon drop, they only thing they came through with was the buffet. When I arrived around 8:30, I was told by a friend that the beer was $4.50 instead of the advertised $2.50. This is on top of the $30 to get in. When I went to get a well drink for the advertised $3.00, it was so watered down, I could have given it to a 5 yr-old. You think that they could be a little generous or even fair since they were getting so much money in cover. When we first arrived I noticed posters up advertising the nights events and when I came back from the buffet, all of the posters with specific prices for the night were taken down, a piece of duct tape left in it's place. My friend and I decided to stay until midnight for the balloon drop. As we welcomed the New Year with tons of peopel on the dance floor, people went crazy diving for balloons. And once the dust cleared, we discovered there was no CASH, only small pieces of paper that were Polly Esther's gift certificates. At this point we were realy mad. We raced to the coat check, and stood in line from 12:02 until 12:35 ... and we were fifth in line! They had no idea what was going on and a few fights almost errupted when some women tried to cut in line, and when security was told, nothing was done. Not even to the guy in front of us who had started headbutting people. Security was laughing with him! All in all we were very disappointed and I don't think we were the only ones. Polly Estehr's is basically guilty of false advertising and poor security. So, I don't think I'll be making a trip back there anytime soon, gift certificates or not.

This is a nice club. You can come here and hear real disco.If you do not like disco go somewhere else.This is the only place to jam to disco period!
