Time has transformed the mega country bar into a venue deserving of national acts on a regular basis. All ages flock here to two-step to famous country musicians like Dwight Yoakum, Tracy Lawrence, Merle Haggard and others. House band Marty Heddin and the Country Blues fill out the monthly calendar. A destination in itself, Cowboys Dancehall is huge. More than 70,000-square-feet make up the mock western town that's decked out with two dance floors, seven bars and a 20,000-square-foot arena. Novice bull riders to pros make their way here at the command of their urban cowboy impulse, while the ladies look on coquettishly in their Wranglers.

Cowboys Dance Hall sucks. The drinks are extremely overpriced; even a small cup of coke! is $2. If you're a "minor" (18-20), you will be required to wear a wristband and have a large, embarrassing 'M' marked on both of your hands. Are you ready to feel like a Jew in Nazi Germany? Good. The overall theme of the place is much like Disneyland: there are rides and games all around. Of course, they try to squeeze as much money out of your pockets as they can at each of these attractions. How about a "fun, free" game of Texas Hold'em where you have to dish out $10-20 just for the privilege of playing at their almighty table? You may as well throw your money into one of their pristine toilets. Let's not forget the "stormtroopers" in their white and black uniforms with their ear pieces and a radio clipped to their belt. "Quick, someone is cheating at our hoax poker table! Seize him!!!" Avoid this place unless you like being robbed.

Its pretty much a teen club...

I used to love this place. Had all ages (from early 20s to upper 30s(sometimes a little higher). But in the past 2 or so years the place has went downhill from my point of view. The drink prices have gone through the roof, the admission price has increased around 50%, the place is waaaaaay too dark!. You can't hardly see anyone unless you are really close to them. It makes it hard to know if you see anyone there you know. And mainly, since they started letting 18 and up in, the place is pretty much like a teen club now. Almost everywhere you look, you see marks on their hands (meaning they are minors). If you are 18 to early 20s, maybe even mid 20s, this would be your place. Other than that, I doubt you would like it. By the way, I'm in my mid 30s and I like their music (both country and dance/hip hop) but the prices, the darkness, and the under 21 policy has ruined this place for me and most other people i've talked to that used to go there.
