Martinis and cigars rule at this upscale downtown bar. Swig Martini Bar boasts the largest, most complete humidor on the River Walk. Moreover, Swig offers a daunting list of potent martinis including the signature Flirtini, The Swig (vodka infused with seasonal fresh fruit) and The Goldfinger (a shaken, not stirred, creation inspired by Agent 007 himself). If martinis are not your thing, a full bar featuring fine cognac is also available. Patio seating on a balcony overlooking the River Walk and nightly live jazz music add to Swig's ambience. Street parking is limited, so be prepared to walk a block or two.

Smelled like vomit
Tried to go in there on a Saturday night and walked right out. First of all, overcrowded with drunk, REALLY obnoxious groups of bachelorettes and college-aged guys. Second of all, drinks were outrageously priced. Third of all, extremely LOUD music. Most people there were clearly plowed and dancing with blow-up dolls, which would explain the strong scent of VOMIT in the air (not what people want to smell when enjoying a $10 martini). Overpriced, overcrowded and over-hyped.

This place is so filthy! I cant believe they get away charging the prices they do. They should spend some of that money they rip off for there drink prices to clean this place up! Sad when you pay so much for a drink and you have to fight off fruit flys at the same time! Tourist Sucker Spot along with local wanna be Spot!!

martinis are expensive, a bunch of wannabes hang out there and too many tourists. not worth it.
Okay for SA
It's a pretty nice place comfortable seating and great live music. BUT I have to agree on the restroom thing, they totally need more restrooms as crowded as it tends to get sometimes. However, the crowd seems to think they arrived in their private Jet straight out of Hollywood. Come on people most people with tons of money never act like they have money.I'm from San Antonio but reside now in Austin and everyone loves to pretend they're rich here until they wake up on their Futon the next morning. Just be yourself when you walk through that door people don't let the snobby part of the crowd influence you okay.Being yourself is REAL!
