Alamo Lodge   

I saw Alamo lodge rates for 61.00 per night thru Orbitz, thought it was a good deal and the web site said "home away from home"...how wrong was I. The location first of all was in the ghetto,I felt unsafe driving to it. When we went to go to our room there were groups of people hanging out in the parking lot like it was some kind of drug or a hooker site. Once we arrived to our room, it smelt like a mix between cigarette smoke and mildew w/prior guest signatures on the wall and shelves. The T.V. had a cigarette burn on top, mold on the trash can, mildew all over the bathroom, and it you are over 5ft...don't expect to take a shower, it hit the middle of my back and I am 5'8". Onto the flooring, the carpet didn't reach the wall and was freyed and had lumps thru-out the room. The table in the room was "junky" with two chairs that sat next to it, and last but not least the bed was hard and the pillows were flat. Had we not arrived so late after a long car ride, we would have left. The ads & description for this place isn't anything but false advertisment!! I wouldn't even give it one star...This was my worst exsperience ever !!!
