Because of the favorable reviews for this company my assistant ordered a fruit and wine basket from them to be delivered to an important client. One of my associates happened to be with the client when the basket was delivered. Allen’s delivered very cheap wine, a few pieces of old produce and store brand crackers. When I called to complain I was treated rudely. They refused to rectify the situation or issue a refund. Now I am concerned about what my client thinks. What was supposed to be a nice jester on my part may have made a poor impression. – ron flemming
