If you're the type to take a date just a wee bit further then usual to hear a mambo, this is the place for you. Right outside of 1604 near Bourne is Chango's Havana Club, a snug dark bar with high ceilings and lots of close-knit seating. There are nice touches like the smoking room that still offers a good view of the stage and the wall opposite the bar that's replicated to look like you're somewhere in Cuba. It's a swanky but welcoming place that boasts its own humidor, and most nights of the week live jazz, Brazilian-style music and several other forms of Latin American music can be heard. The only downside is the tiny dance floor.

It is Boerne, not Bourne!
Just for the record, it is Boerne, not Bourne, or rather the outskirts of Boerne, where Chango's is located.
Nice
This place is all about the people, come with a crowd and have great time. Good music, good drinks, good service. The crowd is not to old or to young a good mix on the weekends. The dance floor gets busy but that is a good thing, If you come alone plan to leave that way. Didn't see many singles. A little smokey but that may just be me.
