Old Timer
Have been eating there since 1958 when Rosalee was presiding and determined to keep the quality constant. Best tex-mex food in a region famous for its food. It's the first place I go from the airport. The hotel can wait. Can't wait to get back!!! Monroe, Louisiana
One of the Top in SA!
This place has been a family favorite for years! Authentic Mexican food, GREAT margaritas (one will do!), and probably one of the best atmospheres with a great outdoor patio and lovely indoor setting. The hostess knows our family by name and the wait staff is exceptional. We visit this retaurant frequently and it's become one of our favorites. HIGHLY recommended - spinach enchiladas, enchiladas verdes with chicken.

Great food and Service all the time. Very consistant.
Just not the same
Cappy did away with La Fonda's ORIGINAL award-winning enchiladas. (Been eating them since 1965)
