Located across from the campus of San Antonio College, Saint has been a favorite for gay and straight clubbers for several years now. Along with Pegasus and the Silver Dollar, Saint has become a staple of the gay bar pub-crawl that revelers and carousers flock to on a nightly basis. Wherever you start or stop, at some point in the evening you'll end up here. In its heyday, Saint attracted an older crowd capable of handling cheap drink specials while eyeing a cocksure drag show. These days there's a tendency for Saint to attract a younger, less tolerable set with not as much drink special know-how as their buoyant predecessors. Still, the randy bar carries its long-standing reputation as being a big-time dance destination and over-the-top ''Premier Show Bar,'' and this helps keep a steady stream of patrons coming through its doors.
