Gruene Hall   

When it was established in 1878, Gruene (pronounced 'Green') Hall was a center of social life for hill country dwellers. These days you'll find that not much has changed for the live entertainment venue that bills itself as "Texas' Oldest Dance Hall." Gruene Hall offers live music seven days a week during the summer and on most nights during the rest of the year. From its whitewashed exterior to its rustic and comfortable interior, this historic watering hole is vintage Americana. Legendary acts having graced the stage at Gruene Hall include Willie Nelson, Robert Earl Keen, Nanci Griffith and numerous others. With the exception of most Friday and Saturday nights, entertainment at the hall is free and refreshingly family friendly. Advance ticketing is available for selected shows.
