When O'Malley's Sports and Spirits opened in 1995, its owner envisioned a familiar bar where patrons would drop in to take a break from all their worries -- not unlike the Boston tavern made famous in the 1980s TV sitcom. Therefore, any resemblance is purely intentional. Catering mostly to a 30-and-over crowd, O'Malley's offers a well-stocked bar and plenty of diversions like pool tables and darts. Stop in for the ever-popular Monday Night Football, happy hour or both. As you can imagine, with a name like O'Malley's, there's more than a wee bit o' fun to be had here on Saint Patty's Day as well. This bar offers no food service, but help yourself to some salty popcorn from the popcorn machine -- all the better for washing down with a brew. -- Chris Jones

This is a bar for only a close knit of frequent customers. If you are not with the klick then you are a loner. The barmaids spend most of the time either on their cell phones or talking to the clicque who sits at the back of the bar. I have tried to strike up a conversation with a barmaid but I am not a regular. The place is smoke filled and very poor ventilation. I went to this SPORTS BAR on several occassions when our SPURS were playing and had to ask if they would put the game on there pull down screen. Even though they do show the SPURS, the audio is off and the JUKE BOX is blasting and you got to just imagine what the game is about. This bar needs a refresh from the manager with its advertised entertainment and barmaids need to be a service too all and not to the CLIQUE
