The freedom of an artist to create and take creative risks often means the difference between a mediocre product and an outstanding one. Since 1999, the Three Walls Gallery has provided a working space for artists who think, feel and create outside the proverbial box. The restrictions commonly placed on an artist's work by strictly commercial galleries can often inhibit creative processes. Not so at Three Walls. Because the space is communal and artists run, it encourages professionals to be more daring with their work than would be advisable in other settings. You'll find contemporary art in diverse media with much of it available for purchase by a discerning eye. Generally, you can view new works and talk to the artists about them on the first Friday evening of each month. -- Chris Jones
